Major Upgrade at Curl Curl North Public School Complete

The multimillion-dollar upgrade at Curl Curl North Public School is complete, with the final stage of the upgrade now open for students and staff to enjoy.

Minister for Education Sarah Mitchell today joined Member for Manly James Griffin to officially open the new facilities.

The final stage of the project has delivered a new hall, a new canteen and upgrades to external play and sporting areas including new futsal courts. It follows Stage 1 of the project, delivered in April 2020, which delivered 40 new permanent learning spaces, a new library and a new administration area.

Minister Mitchell said she was excited to see the NSW Liberal and Nationals Government deliver yet another school project.

“Students across NSW are benefitting from our Government’s investment in new and upgraded schools, including right here at Curl Curl North Public School,” Ms Mitchell said.

“I am delighted that this upgrade will provide students and teachers with the resources they deserve.”

Member for Manly James Griffin said the upgraded school provides students and teachers with innovative learning spaces and modern facilities.

“We want our children to have the best education possible, and providing high-quality school facilities is a key part of that.

“These new and improved facilities at Curl Curl North Public School will benefit our growing community for generations to come”, Mr Griffin said.

The NSW Government is investing $7 billion over the next four years, continuing its program to deliver more than 200 new and upgraded schools to support communities across NSW. This includes upgrades at Manly Vale Public School, Harbord Public School and Brookvale Public School. This is the largest investment in public education infrastructure in the history of NSW.
