Infrastructure Grants for 2018 Closing Soon

Community organisations on the Northern Beaches looking to build new or upgrade current facilities are encouraged to apply for funding from the final round of the NSW Government’s Infrastructure Grants program for 2018.

 

Member for Manly James Griffin said applications could be submitted for sport and recreation, arts and culture, and emergency preparedness from Tuesday, 2 October.

Lifesavers Aim for a Summer of Safety

Surf Life Saving clubs up and down the coast will reinstate their iconic red and yellow flags this weekend as the NSW Government urges beachgoers to take extra care this summer.

 

Premier Gladys Berejiklian, Emergency Services Minister Troy Grant and Manly MP James Griffin joined Surf Life Savers and Nippers today to raise the flags at North Steyne Surf Life Saving Club, marking the start of the volunteer patrol season.

More Preschool Places in NSW

There will be more opportunities on offer for preschool aged kids on the Northern Beaches thanks to a $6 million infrastructure investment which will provide support for almost 400 new preschool places across the state.

 

The funding is part of the additional $42.1 million investment in the NSW Government’s Capital Works Grants program, which was announced in the 2018-19 State Budget to support NSW preschools over the next four years.
