Adopted People on the Northern Beaches to Benefit from New Birth Certificate Reforms

Adopted people on the Northern Beaches will be able to have both their birth and adopted families included on a birth certificate for the first time in the State’s history following new reforms introduced to Parliament.

Member for Manly James Griffin has applauded the NSW Government’s reforms and said the introduction of integrated birth certificates (IBCs) will modernise this important legal identity document by including an adopted person’s full history.


T20 World Cup Legacy Inspiring Cricket's Next Generation

Cricket clubs and councils in NSW are set to capitalise on the success of Australia’s recent Women’s T20 World Cup victory with applications open for the final round of the NSW ICC T20 World Cup 2020 Cricket Legacy Fund.

Member for Manly James Griffin said securing funding will help further improve the quality and quantity of cricket facilities and programs across the Northern Beaches.


Round Six: Community Road Safety Grants Now Open

Community organisations on the Northern Beaches are being encouraged to come forward with their ideas to make a difference to road safety in their own community with applications opening today for round six of the NSW Government’s Community Road Safety Grants Program.

“The Community Road Safety Grants Program is helping save lives in local communities like ours by helping community organisations to deliver targeted initiatives on road safety,” Member for Manly James Griffin said.
