Cash Boost on Offer for Local Sporting Clubs

A boost to grassroots sports development or upgrades to local sporting facilities on the Northern Beaches are just some of the projects eligible for funding, in the latest round of the NSW Government’s Local Sport Grant Program.

Member for Manly James Griffin said this is another great chance for Northern Beaches sporting clubs, with $4.65 million in grants available across NSW.


Inspiring New Mural Along North Balgowlah Noise Wall

A contemporary public mural weaving local Aboriginal stories of land, water, people and culture is complete along a Burnt Bridge Creek Deviation noise wall at North Balgowlah.

Member for Manly James Griffin said the artwork ‘Shorelines and Storylines’, along the western boundary of the road near Serpentine Crescent, was created by local Aboriginal artist Jessica Birk and officially finished today.


Lead Consultant Appointed for Former Manly Hospital Site

Member for Manly James Griffin has welcomed the NSW Government’s appointment of a lead consultant to undertake the masterplan and rezoning of the former Manly Hospital site.

Following the conclusion of the recent community consultation, the NSW Government has appointed COX Architecture as the lead consultant for the project.
