EXTENSION OF FREE RATS FOR MANLY

Those vulnerable to COVID-19 in Manly will continue to have free access to Rapid Antigen Tests (RATs) following the NSW Government’s extension of the program to 30 April 2023.

Local Member for Manly James Griffin MP said that many people in Manly will benefit from having continued access to free RATs.

“We are committed to continuing this important support for those who are vulnerable to the virus,” Mr Griffin said.


APPLICATION OPENING FAST-TRACKED FOR $500M ROAD REPAIR FUND

The NSW Liberal and Nationals Government have fast-tracked the opening of applications for the $500 million Regional and Local Roads Repair Program.

Member for Manly James Griffin said Northern Beaches Council can now apply earlier for their slice of $500 million in NSW Government funding for urgent road repairs.

“Our priority is to make sure NSW roads are in the best condition possible so tradies and truckies can work, and families can make their way home from holidays safely,” Minister Griffin said.


LOCAL HEALTH TEAM FINALIST IN EXELLENCE IN THE PROVISION OF MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES

The Local health team from North Sydney Local Health District was a finalist for the Excellence in the Provision of Mental Health Services category at the 24th annual NSW Health Awards 2022 on the 1st of December.

Now in its 24th year, the annual NSW Health Awards showcase the breadth of skills and health programs delivering significant outcomes to patients around the state, this year celebrating the incredible achievements of 12 winners and 36 finalists from more than 171 nominations.

Member for Manly James Griffin said Northern Sydney Local Health District was recognised from hundreds of nominations across NSW in eleven categories which celebrate and recognise the outstanding healthcare provided by staff working across NSW.
