Member for Manly James Griffin is encouraging preschools across the Northern Beaches to apply for the NSW Government’s $4 million Capital Works Grants program, which is now open for applications.
Mr Griffin said this funding is part of the NSW Government’s $42.1 million investment in building new, and expanding existing early childhood services across the State.
More children on the Northern Beaches will have access to upgraded facilities and better educational experiences, thanks to the NSW Government broadening the eligibility criteria of key early childhood grants programs.
Member for Manly James Griffin announced today that the Quality Learning Environments and Community Grants programs will now be extended to include not-for-profit long day care centres as well as community preschools.
Commuters on Sydney’s Northern Beaches will benefit from the start of Opal Park&Ride at the Manly Vale commuter car park from Tuesday 18 June, which will protect parking spaces for genuine public transport customers.
The Manly Vale Park&Ride features 144 car parks and allows Opal customers who tap on and off public transport up to 18 hours of free parking each day.
