Grandparents Day falls on Sunday 27th October this year and includes a state-wide awards program, photo competition and grants program for local events in celebration of the day.
Member for Manly James Griffin has welcomed the announcement of the Legislative Assembly Committee on Environment and Planning’s inquiry into the sustainability of energy supply and resources in NSW.
The Committee will examine the economic opportunities of renewable energy, as well as how to best support regional communities affected by changing resource markets.
Businesses on the Northern Beaches are being encouraged to support disability inclusion and become a Companion Card affiliate.
Member for Manly James Griffin said the program provides people with a significant and permanent disability access to a range of activities and events, by providing free entry to venues for their companion.
