$7 Million Invested Into Local Schools

Local schools in Manly will be receiving priority upgrades to science labs, halls, offices and other facilities thanks to the NSW Government Metro Renewal Program announced by the Premier and Minister for Education on Tuesday.

One of the big local winners is Northern Beaches Secondary College, Manly Campus which is receiving a multimillion dollar upgrade for a new hall, gym and multi-purpose space. The school will also be receiving a $200,000 new school lab as part of the NSW Government’s ongoing investment in STEM education.


Dine And Discover Delivers Over Half A Million Dollars To Local Businesses So Far

As the NSW Premier today announced the progressive roll out of Dine and Discover vouchers to residents across NSW, Member for Manly James Griffin declared the Northern Beaches as the big winner of the pilot program launched in February. In less than a month since the pilot started in the Northern Beaches over half a million dollars has been spent in local businesses with people using their vouchers.


Making Tracks at Manly Dam

Manly Dam Reserve is receiving new access pathing as the NSW Government injects nearly $4 million into metro green spaces around Sydney. The popular walking track from Sir Roden Cutler Drive will now include a dedicated walking track with 390m of raised wooden boardwalk sporting picturesque views of the water and natural habitat.

James Griffin joined Minister for Planning and Public Spaces Rob Stokes and Mayor Michael Regan to announce $859,952 in partnership funding with Northern Beach Council to construct the $1,719,905 walking path.
