Updated Information on School Bus Changes

Dear Parent/Carer,

Firstly I would like to apologise for the concern and confusion surrounding school buses, and the impact this has had on you and your child.

From 7am this morning I attended bus stops in Seaforth and Balgowlah for two hours to see the changes first hand. I will do this again next week.

As your local Member of Parliament, I work on your behalf to ensure our community receives the highest level of service from the NSW Government. In this case, we have been let down.


Business Registrations Open for Dine and Discover

Eligible businesses in Northern Beaches can now register to take part in the NSW Government’s major economic stimulus program, Dine & Discover NSW.

The program will create an economic boost for local dining, arts and tourism businesses, which have been impacted by COVID-19, and encourage customers to get out and about safely.

Member for Manly, James Griffin encouraged local businesses to register and get ready so they can hit the ground running when the program goes live.


Second Freshwater Ferry Saved

A second Freshwater class vessel will continue to operate on Sydney Harbour, after our hard work campaigning to retain the iconic ferries.

I’m happy to let you know that Transport Minister, Andrew Constance today announced the MV Freshwater, will continue to operate alongside the MV Collaroy on weekends and public holidays.

Mr Constance said he has listened to our community and the feedback about retaining the much loved ferries.
