Member for Manly James Griffin said the Commission, led by Robert Fitzgerald AM, was helping protect adults with disability and older people from abuse, neglect and exploitation in their family, home and community.
“Everyone has the right to live free from abuse and we all have a role to play to ensure older people and adults with a disability are protected,” Mr Griffin said.
A funding boost for a leading youth engagement program will inspire and empower young people to stand united against hate, extremism, fear and division.
