Member for Manly Fights for More than one Freshwater Class Ferry to be Retained

Member for Manly James Griffin said that he welcomed Transport for NSW’s decision to retain one Freshwater Class ferry, but is fighting to retain more than one of the historic boats.

“I was elected to fight for Manly. I’m determined to ensure we respect our history and retain another Freshwater ferry. That is why I’m fighting to retain more than one Freshwater Class ferry. The declining patronage on the Freshwater Class is not good enough reason to keep only one Freshwater Ferry,” Mr Griffin said.
