Pop Up Vaccination Clinic for Vulnerable and Marginalised at Community Northern Beaches

A pop-up vaccination clinic will operate out of Community Northern Beaches, Raglan Street, Manly, on the 27th of September to provide vaccine access to the marginalised within our Northern Beaches community.

The vaccine pop-up will provide walk-in and pre-booked vaccinations from 10am on the 27th of September. The General Manager of Community Northern Beaches, John Kelly said, “I understand that marginalised communities have been under represented in vaccination figures and this is an opportunity to address that on the Northern Beaches.”

Patron of Community Northern Beaches and Member for Manly, James Griffin MP said, “Many vulnerable people often experience stigma and discrimination, and feel anxious or struggle to access health services, this pop-up clinic will do a great job. I commend the team at Community Northern Beaches who are again going above and beyond for people in our community who need extra support and care”.

Mr Griffin said, “I would like to thank the Sydney North Health Network who have partnered with CNB to deliver this service. This vaccination pop-up will drive our nation leading vaccination figures even higher.”

An additional pop-up will take place in the coming weeks so that people can receive their second vaccination. The session will target rough sleepers, people experiencing homelessness or other factors that may contribute to their inability to access vaccination via other means.
