Round Six: Community Road Safety Grants Now Open

Community organisations on the Northern Beaches are being encouraged to come forward with their ideas to make a difference to road safety in their own community with applications opening today for round six of the NSW Government’s Community Road Safety Grants Program.

“The Community Road Safety Grants Program is helping save lives in local communities like ours by helping community organisations to deliver targeted initiatives on road safety,” Member for Manly James Griffin said.


Taskforce Meets to Boost Tourism and Manly's Economic Recovery

Member for Manly James Griffin has welcomed the first virtual meeting of the Tourism & Economic Recovery Taskforce in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the summer bushfires.

Mr Griffin established the Taskforce to bring together public and private sector stakeholders across the Manly area in order to provide strategic and practical advice to benefit the local tourism, events and hospitality industry.


Upgraded Boat Ramps and Jetties Coming to Manly

New and updated boating infrastructure will be delivered across the state under the latest round of the NSW Government’s Boating Now Program.

Member for Manly James Griffin welcomed over $300,000 in funding from the NSW Government to deliver jetty and ramp upgrades at Little Manly and Forty Baskets Beach in Balgowlah Heights.

“We are getting on with the job of improving local maritime access and safety across the Northern Beaches,” Mr Griffin said.
