All Weather Sporting Hub for North Balgowlah

Member for Manly James Griffin has welcomed NSW Government funding for Balgowlah North Public School’s All Weather Sporting Hub, a new synthetic sports field to be built on the school site as part of the My Community Project grant program.

“It’s great to partner with the P&C to deliver this new sports field as one of Manly’s My Community Projects,” Mr Griffin said.


Work Continues to Protect Penguin Population

New signs to educate boaters about the little penguin habitat at North Harbour and Spring Cove will be installed this summer.  

Member for Manly James Griffin said NSW Maritime is working with the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service to improve the visual reminders about the Sydney Harbour critical habitat of the little penguin at Little Manly, Store Beach and Quarantine Station.


Future of the Dalwood Children's Home Site

Member for Manly James Griffin has announced that NSW Health will withdraw the rezoning proposal to Northern Beaches Council and that all of the land compromising the Dalwood Children’s Home site in Seaforth will be retained by NSW Health on behalf of the community.

“I was elected to fight for my community. That’s what I have done, and will continue to do,” Mr Griffin said.
