Manly Courthouse is opening its doors on Thursday, 1 August to educate multicultural TAFE students about the criminal justice system, Member for Manly James Griffin announced today.
“The open day is a great opportunity for newly-arrived migrants and refugees to learn about legal services in NSW, and to understand how courts operate,” Mr Griffin said.
More than 250,000 Creative Kids vouchers have been downloaded in just six months, saving thousands of NSW families $100 per child off the cost of creative and cultural learning activities.
Member for Manly James Griffin welcomed the milestone today and encouraged parents on the Northern Beaches to check their eligibility for the voucher when enrolling their children in creative activities.
Member for Manly James Griffin is encouraging the community to take advantage of the NSW Government’s 2019 Grandparents Day celebrations to show our grandparents and seniors how valuable they are to the community.
Grandparents Day falls on Sunday 27th October this year and includes a state-wide awards program, photo competition and grants program for local events in celebration of the day.
