FEE-FREE TRAINING TO SUPERCHARGE NSW’S EARLY LEARNING WORKFORCE

The early childhood workforce is set to boom with the NSW Government committing 25,000 fee-free training places to bolster the pipeline of skilled and job-ready workers for the early learning and care sector.

Member for Manly James Griffin said fee-free courses will help people upskill and boost budgets by removing barriers to accessing quality vocational education and training.

“This investment in fee-free courses enables you to get a job in an incredibly rewarding industry, study for free and earn while you learn,” Mr Griffin said.


APPLICATIONS SOUGHT FROM MANLY FOR $68M ARTS AND CULTURAL FUNDING PROGRAM

Member for Manly James Griffin and Minister for the Arts Ben Franklin are calling for applications from Manly to the NSW Government’s Arts and Cultural Funding Program (ACFP) for Annual Organisation, Projects and Creative Koori Projects’ categories.

Member for Manly James Griffin encouraged applications from local artists and organisations that would shine a light on the innovation, vibrancy and creativity within the Manly arts and cultural sector.


FIRST LOOK AT CONCEPT DESIGNS FOR MANLY VILLAGE PUBLIC SCHOOL

The Manly community has welcomed the first artist’s impressions for the multi- milliondollar upgrade at Manly Village Public School.

The project will include the relocation and upgrade of administration facilities, new fit for purpose learning spaces including a new special programs space and additional breakout rooms and storage spaces with new out of school hours care (OOSHC) facilities.

Member for Manly, James Griffin said the upgraded facilities are an exciting addition that will deliver modern resources to local students.
