A State-Building Budget for the Northern Beaches
The NSW Government is getting on with the job by delivering on its election commitments, investing a record $93 billion in infrastructure, cutting taxes and providing cost of living relief for local families in the 2019-20 NSW Budget.
A surplus of $802 million is projected for 2018-19 with surpluses averaging $1.7 billion over the four years to 2022-23, continuing the NSW Liberals & Nationals’ strong financial management even in the face of tougher economic conditions.
Capital Works Grants for Preschools Open
Member for Manly James Griffin is encouraging preschools across the Northern Beaches to apply for the NSW Government’s $4 million Capital Works Grants program, which is now open for applications.
Mr Griffin said this funding is part of the NSW Government’s $42.1 million investment in building new, and expanding existing early childhood services across the State.
No Child Misses Out: NSW Government Expands Key Grants Programs
More children on the Northern Beaches will have access to upgraded facilities and better educational experiences, thanks to the NSW Government broadening the eligibility criteria of key early childhood grants programs.
Member for Manly James Griffin announced today that the Quality Learning Environments and Community Grants programs will now be extended to include not-for-profit long day care centres as well as community preschools.
