Residents from across the Northern Beaches can help shape the future of volunteering by having their say as part of the NSW Volunteering Strategy.
Member for Manly James Griffin said the new Volunteering Strategy would provide a blueprint for the NSW Government’s investment in the sector over the next decade.
Community organisations on the Northern Beaches are invited to apply for funding to support local projects under the NSW Government’s Infrastructure Grants program, Member for Manly James Griffin said today.
Mr Griffin said $12.5 million is available in the 2019/20 program for new or upgraded facilities across sport and recreation, arts and culture, disaster readiness and community infrastructure.
Member for Manly James Griffin has welcomed the theme for the 65th Education Week, ‘Every Student and Every Voice’.
Mr Griffin said the theme will encourage student’s right across the Northern Beaches to feel informed, empowered and supported in their ambitions and opinions.
